Technologies
have advanced by leaps and bounds. However, no software or machine has so far
come close to matching the human brain. Automatic translation can never achieve
the accuracy and quality of human translation.
First, it cannot
give the right equivalents for terms whose meanings differ according to the type
of the document.
Second, an
automatic or a computer-aided translation can neither translate the words in
their context nor catch the puns or reveal what the author implies.
This is why you
cannot rely on it to do your translations.
The complexity
of words, linguistic structures, and metaphors makes it impossible for any
machine to undertake a translator's job.
Translation
requires a lot of dedication, great linguistic knowledge and advanced research
techniques. Very skilled doctors, engineers or lawyers will find it really hard
to translate from one language into another even if the document to translate is
in their own field. They will ultimately fall into the trap of mistranslation,
common mistakes, and use of meaningless words/phrases.
Many translators, because they are
overloaded with work and poorly remunerated, will not be able to
review their translations thoroughly nor do the research needed,
compromising quality and accuracy.
We at TT International Group®, have found
the solution in adopting the System of Phases in Translation™ (SPT™
system),
which is based on three services: Three-Phase Translation℠ (TPT℠
service) service, One Proofreading and Editing service℠
(OPE℠
service) and
One-Phase Translation℠
(OPT℠
service) service.
The Three-Phase Translation℠ (TPT℠ service)
service is a special translation service that
guarantees maximum quality, fidelity to the source text and
accuracy, especially if the document to be translated is highly
technical.
The translation
is carried out in three phases:
The first phase
consists of the translation of a document by highly-qualified
translators holding university degrees in translation and with
previous experience with that type of document.
The second and
third
phases consist of a thorough proofreading and editing undertaken by two
highly-qualified proofreaders one after the other, thus
providing you with a high-quality translation in record time.
While proofreading your document, they will make sure that the
philosophical concepts, legal meanings or technical subjects
that the author is talking about are accurately translated into
the target language leaving no room for mistakes or
misconstructions. They will consult experts in the field tackled
in the document to hit the correct meaning, look out for the
right terminology and wrap it all in one solid and flawless
style.

The "One Proofreading and Editing℠ service"
is ideal for our clients who seek high-quality translation for
their non-technical documents.
Indeed,
highly-qualified translators will undertake the translation work
that will be scrutinized in a later stage by a well-experienced
proofreader. The latter will unify style and terminology, make
sure that the translation corresponds with the source text and
with the author’s intentions, and that the accurate terminology
is used; he will also correct any errors in grammar or
vocabulary and common mistakes.

Some of our
clients occasionally need to have documents translated for
internal use only or simply have to deal with a tight budget. In
such case they can dispense with the proofreading and editing stage(s), thus
reducing the translation cost and at the same time having their
documents translated by one of our competent and well-experienced translators.

Although fluency in languages is a must, it will certainly fail
to achieve a successful translation without certain techniques,
theories, and methods such as transposition, modulation,
reformulation, adaptation, compensation… Such techniques cannot
be easily acquired and it takes years of education, training,
and practice to master them and become a translator.
That’s why, TT International Group®
only hires translators who have university degrees in
translation and who have specialized in different fields: legal,
economic, religious, medical, scientific…
We translate from and into Arabic, French and English.
All documents
(contracts, reports, studies etc.)
we receive are treated with the STRICTEST CONFIDENTIALITY.
At TT International Group®,
we understand the meaning of confidentiality and non-disclosure.
As a result, our work process reflects this understanding and
respect. All of our translators and employees are trustworthy,
have signed confidentiality agreements with us, and often deal
with very sensitive information.
1. All of our translators/proofreaders are academically
qualified and hold at least a Bachelor degree in translation
from the most renowned universities in Lebanon.
2. For the translation or proofreading of every project, special
attention is given to the selection of translators/proofreaders
specialized in the type of the document.
3. Our
System of Phases in Translation™
(SPT™
system)
is a proven system that is sure
to provide high-quality translation through its unique TPT℠
service.
4. For motivation, we
give bonuses to our
translators and proofreaders upon completion of each project
according to determined criteria, thus encouraging them to give
their best.
5. After translating 1500 pages,
the translator can own 0.1% of the company's shares.
The proofreader can also own the same percentage after
proofreading 2500 pages. So our translators/proofreaders are
either current or future shareholders in the company.
6.
At least 70% of our translation prices go to the translation
process.
7. We, at TT International Group®,
are proud of our translations. That is why it is very important
for us to sign them.
A good translator can translate about 1000
words per day. A proofreader can proofread about 1250 words per
day. However, every translation project is unique and has its
own linguistic difficulties. Thus, the timeframe will vary
according to many factors: translation type, degree of
technicality, lack of equivalents, new concepts, format of the
document etc.
As we do not give fake deadlines nor compromise quality for
speed, the company’s team of translators may often be working at
full capacity. In this case, for shorter deadlines we follow
special procedures: namely overtime work (after normal working
hours, on weekends and holidays, etc.). Such special services
are subject to a rush fee specified in our Online Smart Estimator™ Form, and that according to
the size of your project.
With our unique, state of the art, automatic
Online Smart Estimator™, we offer our clients a unique online
experience in quoting their projects.
Moreover, TT International Group®
offers you the possibility to
pay online using your credit card, via the secure Netcommerce
payment gateway which applies the newest technologies in
encryption and security.
However, for large projects, whether you have a long-term
contract with us or not, we entrust your document to a
professional project manager who will contact our translation
department and get a quotation for your project.
A team of translators will meet to discuss your document and
estimate the cost of each phase: translation, first phase of
proofreading and second phase of proofreading.
Then the project manager will contact you for further discussion
of the project, methods of payments and any additional
information we might need to meet your utmost needs and
expectations.
